Moderator I noticed the unallocated WOWPoints earned from last cycle have not been added to the total. It says we are still at 45,861WOWPoints carried forward from the last cycle. I think between 6,000-7,000 WOWPoints were earned last cycle and they seem to have disappeared. Can you please look into this matter?
The top two projects have less than a month before they expire. I would hate for students to miss out on these supplies due to a numerical error. Thanks for checking into this matter. (0)

It has been DAYS since we last heard from anyone answering questions here. Is the partnership with DonorsChoose still in effect? Is it worth voting? By now, there should have been more WOWPoints donated, since it has been almost a month since the last project was funded. Thanks!

Dear Moderator: Will someone please take a look at number of WOWPoints allocated to projects last cycle that will be added to this cycle's pool for Donorschoose. The website currently shows 17,526 WOWPoints carried forward from the last cycle. This total does not include any of the WOWPoints donated last cycle.
Details: For the last cycle (ending 04/20), the website showed 67,760 WOWPoints that were unallocated from the previous cycle. There was only one project funded (Mrs. Back) on 04/20 for 50,234 WOWPoints. The difference between the unallocated and the funded leaves us with 17,526 WOWPoints (67,760 minus 50,234). Apparently the total WOWPoints carried forward to this current cycle does not include any WOWPoints donated during the last cycle. Saturday night (04/20) the website showed at least 17,629 WOWPoints donated during that cycle. Thanks for looking into this matter. (0)

The project that shows as being funded on 04/06, Mrs. G from Carr Creek, was actually funded by two other donors April 5 on the Donorschoose website. What happens to the donation amount used to fund Mrs. G. Project? It does not currently show in the total WOWPoints unallocated to projects last cycle that will be allocated to this cycle's pool. Thanks!

Noviceishy:You want a tip? Here is a tip don't fix what is not broken. Okay I am trying to be understandable. I have been a loyal customer and supporter of Donorschoose but it gets to the point that one knows when to walk away. I will continue to supports Donorschoose by directly donating to projects. Thank you for all your support but changes left and right is just not worth my time.... more

Thank you OO.com for these new changes (again) and continued support of teachers across the country. Most of all, thank you for keeping to Charlie Kim's words: do many little things that would allow others to do the GREAT things they are meant to do. ExpertWell, this is a shame....ive been doing my best to be optimistic about OO and all the changes you make, however, this turn in events has gotten me baffled and quite upset for a lack of a better term. .If people are WOWing DC projects, those wows should go directly to DC projects and not any other ones even if users are not affiliated with any charity. I think it's pretty clear that those WOWing DC projects want their wows to go to DC projects. How in the world does a company just pool money together when there is a specific purpose for that money being spent? In this case, WOWs. Oo.com is spending user money without thinking about its users. What happened to your loyal customers purpose? Is there no loyalty from oo.com to its customers? Why are users who purchased items for WOWPoints to donate to teachers/projects being coerced to support others who they have no idea who they are and what they are doing? I really believe oo.com has made changes that are bad for themselves and their platform of supporting public education. Why am I using My WOWpoints to support another charity I don't even have a clue about?? I am not putting time aside to wow their purpose! I'm taking my time to wow DC projects. I want all my WOWPoints to be donated to projects on DC however I know that isn't the case. It's terrible and unthinkable that oo.com would take the pool of Wows(money) and split it based on NEW USER chosen charirties..what happened to the THOUSANDS of customers who already have been part of this community? Oo.com has left us in the dirt without considering, it is us who have also help build your oo.com community. Suggestion: wows that are donated should go to the charirties they are being donated to and not any other charity. If users choose to donate wows to vitanna, then those should be given to vitanna, those donating to DC should stay in DC, those WOWs being spent on purchases goes to the purchases! Simple common sense.... more

SavvyI just earned WOWPoints for typical grocery purchases from drugstore.com and which helped in fund another teacher project. Its cool to see that there are a wide variety of shopping options here and you donate automatically even on everyday purchases. Clever system!... more

Novicemisswise:I read that Vittana gives microloans to students in countries to make education a possibility. OO.com are you helping these students by loaning them money? I am learning about Vittana and I think it is a good organization. Can you explain how you are deciding to fund projects? Take a look at the DC projects and you will see numerous vote/ liikes/WOWs from individuals. Look at the number of people that contribute to your site. I very much liked shopping at your site because I LOVE supporting DC, teachers, and students. How can you fund as many projects from Vittana as Donorschoose when the numbers just don't add up?... more

NoviceAny chance of a weekly funding? It would be a great way to celebrate the end of each week----or a real boost at the start of a new week. It is hard to keep voters motivated for a two-week stretch, and I think enthusiasm and focus could be more easily maintained for a shorter period. NoviceWhy are you funding projects that have NO VOTES or WOWs on the other charity? IS it a loan or a grant that you are funding? All the money that I have spent seems to have been spent in vain. I am a teacher and and the sole provider in my household. I have spent over a thousand dollars on your site. I like supporting teachers. Look at all the votes and WOWs people give on a daily basis. Thank you for supporting teachers but your sick games are just too much. I do not understand the rules. I try to but you change them all the time. Yes I am upset. What do I do with all this WOWs now?... more

SavvyMy nephew keeps asking me: How is that the more votes and wows we put in a project the more votes and wows we need? I read somewhere votes needed were going to stabilize at the end of the cycle, but I haven't seen much change. I'm afraid by the end of the cycle they projects we are supporting will jump from 20% to barely a 5% funded. By the time we get over 50% the projects will expire. Any chance votes needed can be a constant depending of factors like price of the project and if it is 1rst, 2nd, 3rd project? Also, some of the projects have gotten matching in DC or could be at 70% funding in DC but those things are not reflected in oo.... more
